We will meet for 90 minutes to review information from your intake paperwork, and I will gather more information and ask follow up questions to create your personalized recommendations. We will discuss your medical diagnoses from your physicians, discuss your symptoms and goals for working together, conduct a nutrition focused-physical exam and discuss motivations, barriers, food preferences, social environments, stress, sleep and more. I may recommend laboratory testing based upon symptoms and diagnoses before or during this initial consultation. 
                           

We will review your initial recommendations in this appointment! We will discuss your diet, supplement, stress, sleep and/or physical activity recommendations. I take the time to explain why I am making the recommendations, how they tie into your goals, symptoms and/or diagnosis and of course, answer any questions you may have!

Functional labs are a great way to better understand what is going on within your cells and body. Although, there are a lot of functional labs out there and I know it can be overwhelming not knowing which ones may benefit you. Every person’s health goal(s), symptoms, diagnoses and lifestyle factors are unique and therefore, my recommendations for functional labs will be different for every client. I may not recommend functional testing to some clients, while I may recommend 1-2 tests for others. Here is a list of some tests I order for clients: GI MAP, Organic Acids Test, Nutrigenomics Test, DUTCH Test, Personalized Functional Blood Test.
